Fall

by Lifesbreath   Oct 7, 2013

Days dreaming, Elegant Evenings
Cooling chill met in brief breezes.
Colors burning brown and amber orange,
Challenges come these days take courage.
Tragic twist of times, turn with the trees,
taking Trazodone trips the twilight slumber.
Merging months build to bring the new year,
the season of change is now here.
Bring the barley and raise the rye.
The year is yearning to yell goodbye.

Fall is my favorite season and nature poems are my favorite ones to read! This poem unfolded the beauty of fall with vivid imagery and the rhyming made this read smooth and enjoyable! Well done!
