Don't read too many dark pieces from you.. the emotion here was real as well as those images of this person trying, attempting to be lively and spirited, but being lifeless... and more than anything you want to see this love of yours make it through darkness into something substantial.

That ending line is so heartbreaking, as if you realize and voice the truth that this maze will not end. As much as you'd like to break this cycle, there is no sudden or easy way out. It also made me think the future can be frightening because of tragedies we may never be prepared to encounter.
