I agree completely, and find this poem short but very full of power.

I do agree that everyone teaches something, and what they teach is up to them. Even words can teach a lesson, and given the wrong choice of words, we end up teaching the wrong lesson.

I think the poem is very fitting to society and how everyone relies on everyone else to teach future generations, and are quick to blame schools, politics, families etc for when youths go down the wrong path. But I believe it is exactly as you say. Someone, especially a child, learns from everyone around them, not just one person.

Fantastic poem, and it really opens a lot of windows. I feel strongly against this issue and the poem really spoke to me.

    So well done.

This is a very nice acrostic, Danny! Teachers are not only in the classroom, but all around us and even inside us. We have to choose to be a role model and help the youth today strive for a better future.

Everyone can teach, but it takes real heart and determination to be, "Teachers". I hope this poem can be a inspiration to anyone who reads it. We are all responsible to be teachers and mentors to our children, those who are wayward and people who seek understanding from ignorance that fell through the cracks.
