Wonderland

Wonderland

If a Wonderland should exist,
That would be just grand!
I would run to the entrance,
Probably fall but I shall stand.

Should a Wonderland exist?
Where everyone is strange.
They're all quirky and not quite sane.
Of course there must be something amiss!

There is a place of Wonderland.
It's in everyone's soul.
A place to escape.
From the tragedies of the real world.

Very simple but I love your enthusiasm here. My only suggestion would be to give more imagery and appeal to the senses... instead of just describing this wonderland to the reader, show the reader. What's the temperature like? Is it an actual place or a metaphor for the way you feel, the strange moments you come across? You can expand or add on and still write it with simplicity and flow.

I like the finality of your thoughts in the last stanza. You have a great introduction then your thought process concludes with the recognition of a wonderland in everyone's soul. Neat idea. Indeed, we should live in reality, but it's also alright in my opinion to have those fantasies, or think of other places we could be (whether impossible or not) to lift our spirits up.

I see you're a bit new to this site, so I want to say welcome, hope you like it here... and please keep writing!
