This is very beautiful maryanne. I like how you made this poem feel peaceful. In the first stanza you make it seem like you are listening to music that makes you relax. I like how you put tomorrow like you are worried at first then the thoughts start to fade as you get lost in the music. You are lost in your room and no one can really bring you down at all. And it seems you described your room so well. Your soul is a million miles away due to the music. Any room can be a sanctuary and your saying yours is aa well. I loved how you say you will wake up soon. You will obey an alarm. What beautiful metaphors you use here. Warmth is a great gift :) haha. The ending is beautiful too the wording is perfect. I love how you went back to talk about the outside and moon. The moon tucks you you which I think maybe someone is watching over you! Anyway. Overall this is a great poem. Well done.

Such a beautiful piece of poetry, MaryAnne.
It's a very delicate write, and the use of the music made it feel very melodic and relaxing.

We both share the same problems with Insomnia, and I know you write the most deepest poetry in those early hours, but at the same time, it is laced with a gentleness.

This piece, it feels hopeful towards the end, as if the music is lulling you to sleep, and even though your mind started out crazed and thoughtful, it has relaxed. I love how music can do that to one's soul.

How it can relax it, even in it's most anxious and troublesome states.

The addition of the piano composition adds a very serene touch to this piece. That although your thoughts may keep you up into the late hours at night, it can calm and relax you into a tranquil state so you can finally go to sleep.

You always use such unique wording, I'm envious! I love the 'refrigerate these thoughts' and the part of your arms obeying an alarm!

    Lovely piece, dear! (As always!)

I'm listening to. Philip Wesley right now...I like this one "new day" ..softer...anyway , you already know how I feel about river flows in you, for six months last year that's the only song I wrote to . On repeat.

Still cracks me I was like Maryanne l play this for me and I will try to write, you're like ok and our moms are chatting . Like,.uhhh what're they doing lol.

ANYWAYS.....I loved this...the repeat of tomorrow is excellent because that song will freaking do that to you...you just think and think and think...
I love your poetry because you write the most random stuff sometimes and it's a breath of fresh air.
You take unique topics, about a song and write what it does to your spirit...about a kitchen and poetically word a piece about over eating....very nicely done.

    Love it.
