Okay this is another GREAT poem Brittany. :). Here's my break down again.

First stanza- I totally understand why you would build up walls in life. It seems here you are saying that you have been hurt and guard your heart. Which again I understand well. Anyway. I know it is very difficult to let anyone in. This is a very good start though. Kate has climbed those walls and you let her in. Which must have been very hard. I loved the wording though. Hmm. This person shines like the sun and that is such a beautiful line. They seem to be your angel and true love. Like the halos light heals your heart.

Second- I love the lines here. Of course like I said when you have been hurt you are always reserved. But I love the holding of hands though. It is such an underrated thing in love. It is such a simple thing but such a heart fluttering thing to do. I also love the word gently. It works well here because you say you are fragile and she gently places her hand in yours. That means she is slowly putting the peices back together of your heart. Again I love the ice encasing your heart and she melts it. Xx.

Third- The eyes are such a beautiful thing to write about. But it's very unique to see hair in anyway. I love how you say your eyes are vulnerable. Like they are still afraid of something. And you wrote that you are starting to show your love for her. Okay I love how you describe her eyes as soft. She is a kind person and seems to understand what is hidden inside. What you say is she loves you no matter what is hidden. That is really true love.

Ending- The ending is very touching iand warms my heart to the core. She tries to help you by soothing you and loving you with words she says. If it is true love you will always be there no matter what happens. I love the hair too again. You let your hair down to show who you really are maybe? Haha. Anyways. The whole poem is great as it shows how much one person can really change your life for the better. It also shows how much love one person can give if you let them in. Xx
