Rejected kissed and drunken falls

by PorcelainMoon   Oct 30, 2013

Lonely walks and cigarettes, coffee breaks on lazy days.
Many men to love your smile,
but you still speak with me, For a while.
I miss the sun, from this shaded room,
to love another seems too soon.
Would you open the door it's raining without you.
The sun is shining, but it's raining without you.
Come home on that jaded path, again.

Perfect eyes, in these moonlit halls
Rejected kissed and drunken falls
Empty bottles in empty walls;

It's a full moon tonight, let's stick to the leather.
let's jump on this cold old train together.
It's heading nowhere fast.
This journey through life, if only I could escape these chains and cuffs & once again run from my thoughts.
To the strangers in graves , to the cave men in caves.
please bury me alone, without you, because I never deserved my soul

But until that day, please remember my eyes,
I will be the last one play this song for you...

Heartache at it's finest here. Sadness really just drips from your words... of being lonely without this person in your arms.

Question: In your title and also in your second stanza, second line... you have "rejected kissed"... wondering, should that be rejected kisses? It just sounds odd to me but I may be reading it wrong.

I'm usually not a fan of rhyme, but it works here! I especially like the second stanza... it just flows so smoothly!
