Goodbye

by Melody   Nov 1, 2013

Hiding away as my body slowly dies,
The darkness invading my mind,
Fighting the quickly fading light,
I willingly give in to the insanity already present,
Screaming so violently my throat bleeds,
Silence is all that comes,
I cannot see past the slimy blackness,
I take solace in my inability to think,
Arms and hips laden with red scars,
Bleeding from fresh slices,
The knife is dull to cause more pain,
Soon it will be deep within my wrist,
Blood pouring from an open wound,
I watch distantly with no sorrow,
One last breath to say goodbye,
I love you.
