yap...you cant change some things you just have to accept those changes...

First- This is also a very strong opening! I like the first line here. What are the words you want this person to say? You say you have hope so maybe it's I love you. Those are such big words to say indeed. Love is a very scary thing for most people. I like how you say your ears will remain open. That tells you are a very good listener and you are waiting for them. I believe you have to have an open heart to believe what the words your heart wants to hear. Though again it's sad to hearthis. You make this character out to be a very kind hearted pperson. In my opinion at least.

Second/end- Again another strong stanza and here I think this could be family or a friend you call family. Distance is very tough for anyone to handle and you set this tone well I believe. i like the third stanzas wording. There are things you want to change maybe something that has happened In the past. It seems likemaybe you want to make things right with this person. I believe Its very hard to change anything when you have had a falling out with a person. The stanza emds this up well. The cold distance I feel Is the key here. That tells me In my mind that things didnt end well with this person and now you miss them and want to try this relationship again. Anyway a very sad write but great overall. Xx
