Don't Cry Now

by Shontaye Frye   Nov 3, 2013

When I was alive you didn't give a damn about me
You talked to me as if I was not your mother
When truly enough I should've gotten the up most respect
For I'm the one who gave you life
but now that I'm gone don't bother crying over my grave

You hurt me many times in my life
You even made me cry
You made me feel like an worthless mother
but now hat I'm dead and gone please do not shed a tear

You called me names
You put me down
but one thing I want you to remember I'm still your mother
Now that I'm gone home to the lord above
you do not have to worry about my pain
cause in the end your the one suffering more
