November Calling

by Maple Tree   Nov 3, 2013

Pain circles his coffee cup
like the daily weather broadcast.

Lurking within the hallway
choking tears wishing
to fall,

such as the temperature
in the approaching days of
November.

Our castle grows darker
with every tick of the clock,

and I can't bare to face spring
alone.

I fight reality with all the strength
I've got, smiling at every single
word he whispers,

but we know,

we just know.

    You're always in my heart.

This is a heartbreaking and emotional piece, nothing else needs to be said.

I try to keep my distance from sad poems but sometimes it can't be help. I agree with Mary Anne the emotion stings and is painfully real. The ending of the poem just got me. Always thinking of you two.

I agree with Maryanne, some poems are just too personal to break down and try to voice our own personal interpretations.

Always thinking of you guys, dear. <3

There are certain poems where little can be said after reading, and this is one of them. Heartbreaking, this emotion stings and is so painfully real. Never forget we are all thinking of you and him, and you are not alone <3
