Secrets And Trust

by You Can Speak But I Can Rhyme   Nov 4, 2013

The broken roads of an open mind;
Tragedy rewinds, sorrows are all I find;
Arms painted red, pain! So divine;
Bridges divide, alone I feel so alive...

The broken heart with tokens of scars;
Once shun like a star, now invisibly afar;
A long lost hope, a battle against oneself;
Whether to be myself or be someone else...

The broken trust of this sullen heart;
Torn apart, my love for life as I depart;
I hide these screams silently inside;
My world turned upside, my voice petrified...

My broken soul in this disdain world;
All void and null, as my senses go dull;
Whom to say or what to believe;
Secrets and trust or people who deceive...

And my broken eyes tamed by reality;
A battle against fidelity, lost inevitably;
And I wonder if death is the ultimate answer;
Although unclear as I mutely disappear...
