First- This is one of the most powerful lead stanzas I have ever read. I love the idea of swimming in blanketsand falling in love with just holding hands. The first thing I tthought off was being a child again. It seems to getting over that first hand hold is difficult though I am not sure why. I think it's because it can lead to so much more and that is kinda like the first step into the journey of love or even lust really. This hooked me in big time so well done there.

Second/third- loved the wording in the second stanza as well. You can never really tell whst the future will hold with anyone. I think what you are saying here is that you can write your own future by trying to be open with the one you love. But I do get what you mean. The third stanza is where it made me think of child-like hearts. The wording is very innocent and sweet in my opinion just really like love is. I think doing things together is the simplest way to fall. It makes your heartwarm.

Ending- The ending is perfect for the poem as a whole. In my mind you are saying that if you give it time that you will fall in love but you are not there yet. I agree whole heartily with this. I love the word euphoria. I think that this connection is so very strong that no one can break it at all. Anyway I love this poem as a whole. It tells a real story of two people falling in love over again and giving it time that very well could happen to anyone. Wish I could nominate love poems. .. but going in my favorite list. Well done.

So passionate. Beautiful. Well executed and shows so much talent. I love the way you direct the piece to one person but make general enough anyone can read it. Feeling the heart in every word, seeing threads of your soul in every line. That is mastery right there. Well worth the nomination and every vote.

The imagery here is something that really 'made' this poem. A sweet poem about two lovers actually falling in love -- beautiful descriptions here. I laughed, though, as I read the cookie-cutter pancakes and then 'pinned' .. because I just saw this on Pinterest. No idea if theres a connection lol. Anyway -- this poem was gorgeous and I love how the ending wrapped up with falling out of lust and into love. That moment is truly a sweet one!
