Full Moon Night

by Jawwad Zafar   Nov 4, 2013

Tearing through the gloom
A white light, emits to my room
It was a full moon night
The night of horror and fright

I rushed bare foot to the roof
to bear as its witness, a proof
stunned by glory, bind to feet
mesmerized by holy single fleet

I saw it, the angel of light
a forfeit, after darkest night
stared at, with each naked eye
the beauty it glare was oversized

In moon I saw a face engraved
A face of someone enslaved
The shadow I cast by its wrath
A dusk silhouette within my heart.
