Cold December

by Jawwad Zafar   Nov 4, 2013

Mysterious silence, the world freezes
a taste of death, lonely breezes
Empty streets, haunted park
no sign of human, or a dog to bark

where are you Sun, where are you hiding?
against the queen of winter, why aren't fighting?

Suffering alone, no foe or a friend
It's been the same, not a new trend
flora and fauna, creeps out and die
under blanket of pale hope, they all lie

The night came back with more than ever
demon's laughter, horrendous fever
The Moon is lost within shallow fogs
Darkness prevails, happiness clogs

how many days passed, none cannot remember
for how long we'll bear, this Cold December
