The voices,
They whisper,
Like a mosquito in your ear,
Like the whistling of the wind,
The murmur's of abhorrence,
The undertone of iniquity.
The voices,
They chatter,
Like rumors flooding school halls,
Like gossip annihilating human distinction,
The talk of declaration,
The babble of decree.
The voices,
They sing,
Like screeching bats in the shadowy darkness,
Like nails on a chalkboard,
The melody of anguish,
The harmony of suffering.
The voices,
They rant,
Like protestors,
Like preachers,
The racket of irritation,
The upheaval of rage.
The voices,
They roar,
Like lions declaring their ruling,
Like emperors announcing a war,
The shouting of obliteration,
The bellow extinction.
