Meaningless Existence.

by Daphne Darling   Jul 3, 2004

Meaningless blunders,
Watch the stars shine through,
As the formatted world dies,
Shine like the sun,
C’mon show me what it is,
Show me how I can free this curse,
Meaningless chaos,
In the bright city lights,
I am dazed by the sight,
Of a daylight in the deepest night,
Mind shattering sounds,
The sights the sounds,
They all burn a hole,
Meaningless thoughts,
As the fire burns brighter,
The miles are passing by,
The water is freezing over,
With the meaningless chaos of humans,
Set it free,
Feel the freedom of the waste less plains,
Meaningless hatred,
Hate and loathing,
All written in the sand,
With the crimson blades,
As again and again,
The children scream,
Innocence is taken at will,
Meaningless whims,
The whim of man hurting the soul,
In a technological age,
Where disease is out grown,
Why do more people die then before?
Meaningless words
I can tell you the answer,
Weapons,
Guns and bombs,
Falling upon the heads of innocence,
Tell me why,
Tell me why does it hurt you to know,
Tell me why it pains you that it’s true,
Meaningless toys,
Littering the chaosed streets,
Youth living in the gangs,
Fighting each other,
All over a little street,
What is the point of all this?
Meaningless screams,
In a day of joy,
Humankind shall fall,
We have built ourselves up for this,
We shall fall from afar,
We shall crash to the ground,
And there we shall stay,
Meaningless hope...
