Run

by Forever Hers   Nov 17, 2013

Take your things,
No goodbyes,
Walk out the door,
Avoid their eyes.
See the sun
Finally set
On your torture
And your back.
Feel the breeze
On your arms,
Are you finally happy?
Now there's no harm.
Except, no one is there,
You thought it'd be fun?
Take it from someone
Who knows what it's like to run.

I believe what you are saying here is that life is so hard. And we all want to run away. I don't think it's worth it at all. Yes we all have problems but we must face them head on because they will always follow us. I like how you started out though. You don't want anyone to know what you are doing so any contact will show thatyou are sad. Yes it is true if you get away that there is no more harm but misery loves its company. The ending is outstanding as well. Though you are free there is no one there for you at all so it's a circle. Great poem overall though because of the message. Xx
