How We Survive

by Amy   Nov 18, 2013

Cold rainy nights or
hot summer evenings,
This is simple;

There is no food or water,
left to consume.
In this kind of survival.

An echoing sound,
of crying animals.
Drives us crazy;

We also tire out fast for
there is no nourishment,
But it doesn't do much harm.

We cannot bare the pain
and emotion we go through.
The suffering is too much;

We tell more lies and
we keep more secrets.
But that is how we survive.
