Only If

**

If I could talk away your pain,
I'd talk from dusk to dawn.
I would not leave your side at all,
Until your pain was gone.

^^When the one you love is by your side, talking and consoling you..that itself starts to heal the pain.

If I could hug away your pain,
I would not let you go.
I'd hug you tight as I could hug,
Till happiness filled your soul.

^^I know this will bring a smile to any woman for just reading it made me smile..such warm thoughts.

All I have are words to give,
It seems the smallest part.
But as you read this poem I know,
You'll understand my heart.

^^Even though they are just words, only the one receiving it will ever truly know the comfort you give the heart..and I'm sure your lady understands this.
