Goosebumps sneak
on bare skin, as I feel
cleansed, stepping out
of a pearly tub
and truly seeing I still
have potential.

There is something about
spring water purifying dirt,
both hidden and visible,
while bitter thoughts clear
and songs don't just
drift- they stay.

Fog slithers away from
my mirror, from my lens,
from my soul...
