Guardian Angels

by Burningdaisy13   Dec 2, 2013

A seed.
Fresh and new, ready for life's fullest happiness.
It falls onto the ground, anxious to fullfill mother nature's dream.
Innocent and pure.
After seasons of beauty, kindness, and mystery.
Mother nature takes her course.
How something so small, can bloom with life and magic.
To reach towards the heavens, as if praying to the Lord.
Like a skyscraper.
Feeding off of the sun's comforting rays.
To shield and protect, like guardian angels.
In the breeze, vibrant red and green, swing and ripen.
As if saying: Take me, I will give life to the world.
Changing shades, the leafs blow.
Bearing a message of everlasting love on it's skin.
A home for animals, so sweet, so fierce.
On a branch, sits a girl.
Lonely and broken.
It soaks up her grief, drooping like a widow.
Her limps move, and slips.
her eyes slam shut, accepting to be in eternal slumber.
Her fall breaks, stopping her images in it's tracks.
Bark and color surround her in love.
Saving her life, forever her savior.
As years, decades, and centuries reel by.
Mother nature takes her course.
A seed falls from up above.
And lands in soil, full of cherished memories.
Forever being guardians of nature.
