You dress up in a tux
And any suit you would look good in (in your opinion)
You almost knock me over
With ho handsome you look (like always)
You put out your hand
And I set mine in yours

I am dressed in a long black dress that ties in behind the neck
It is my favorite gown
With purple roses scattered across the fabric
My stomach is full of butterflies
I am too nervous for words
As my shy side takes over again
And I lose the right words to say
My eyes shine to be here with you
I don't know how I got so lucky
How I got into the arms of the one
The one who is so wonderful
I am happy beyond words
To be in your presence and be yours
You mean more to me than any measurement can contact
Or the world can build
In this moment
It is crystal clear to me
You are all I need

Date ideas scramble through my head
Sharing a smoothie with two straws
Holding me tight in the silence
Walking together along the beach
Going to the fair or Red Lobster
Hugging for hours
Laying on the grass stargazing underneath the moonlit sky or watching clouds
Taking a walk together alongside the road
Video chatting
Running through the tall grass chasing each other
At the lake
Hanging out at the park
Talking all night together
A fantasy restaurant
At the mall
At a dance and slow dancing
Any restaurant of your choice
Spaqetti supper
Taking a walk together through the woods
MacDonalds
Beside some water
Eating a home cooked meal at your apartment
And place you wanted
Broom closest
Setting up a table in candle light
Writing collabs
Watching movies together
Prom

I am not so great at date ideas
But spending time with you is all I need
And you being here with me is what I long for.

At the end of the night
We can go back to your place
For the reminder of our special date night together
WE slow dance close in each other's arms
Passing the hours swaying back and forth in each other's grasp
For hours slow dancing with you sounds like a dream come true
And then we can sit down beside each other
Spend the rest of the night talking
Laughing and bringing up random topics
Talking about nothing in particular
You and I in conversation
Until we fall asleep
Me soundly in your arms
