Feathered as the wind
caressing in your heart,
as love envelopes you to its wings
not tears that flow, for pain and sorrow
but joy that formed when love called unto you.
restrict not its wings spread unto the wind
for it only thrives and blooms beyond restrain
should it wander and seek another path
be glad it came to you and left you
thundering, and exuberant in its mark.
find not the reason then, for tears, when it flies away
for as vast as the oceans upon which it floats
it is also as high as the mountains when it climbs
but steady and strong upon which the roots sprung
and be watchful when it does come around.
One more time....
for the calling and responding will not rest
where it once was.
But be mindful in gratitude
That it landed once in your heart.
