What makes a word a word,
Who came up with it and gave it meaning,
Why are words used daily to no end,
I think words have lost all meaning,
Right now I really just need a feeling.

I want you to show me,
Show me why it is you keep me around,
Why to you I'm not just like everyone else,
I love the words you weave to bathe me in glory,
I can't just trust your words if actions tell a different story.
