*This is the third installment of the Six Month Anniversary series of six poems me and my outstanding bf Skyler are doing :)!* I love you Skyler!!!

You are my only one
My other half
You are my future husband
The plans of my future my heart has crafted
You are my everlasting love, and one true love
The hand that fits me mine

I close my eyes
Joy sweeps through every cell in me
Happiness prensinging and covering my heart
And warmth floods my entire body
When I hear those words come from you
To change my last name

I love when you say my name
When you tell others of your plan with me
When you include me in your future, putting your last name on mine
When you call me your Mrs., Or my name followed by Barrett
Entwining us together in an old fashion tradition
You have no idea how much that means to me

I love to get it from you
Hope we'll last forever
The promise I'll be your wife
That you'll love me forever
No one makes me feel the way you do
I pray to God I'll end up with you

I want to be with only you
Spend forever with no other but you
Gaze into the eyes, your blue pupils
Kiss the lips of your sweet face
Give passionate touches to you
Spending last days with you

I want you to change my last name
To allow me to wear yours as my own
To say vows with you that bound us together forever
I want to be your wifey
The women at your side
The one who says "I do", eyes memorized with each other

I dream of only you
When I reach out my hand
I want to feel you beside me
Your arms circling and cradling my waist
My mind surrounding thoughts of you
My hopes Skyler centered

I wish for only you at
Prom
My sweet-sixteen
Graduation
A relative's wedding
And our first sleepover

I hope for you to be
The groom at my wedding
The Father to my children
The angel in my life as you are mine
My dance partner
My prince and knight in shining armour

I want to enjoy the rainfall with you
The stars, moonlight and passing clouds
The joys of life with you by my side
The beaches and long walks upon the shore
The men to carry me off into the sunset and let it rise and set before our eyes
Over all enjoying your presence, always a golden moment to catch

I want to be your Mrs. Barrett
The one to take your last name
And receive your love 'til the end of the world's days
To be where your words are directed
Your love
I love to be your Mrs. Barrett

For me about being with you
The question is no longer
Will I be willing to marry you
It is now when will I be willing to marry you
I love when you call me your future wife
And I adore when you call me Kaitlyn Barrett

    This is a really cute poem. The only thing I suggest is shorten your poems because for me you tend to say alot of the same things and I feel like you can shorten the poem to make it feel intimate with the reader but that's just me. For the poem it self I love it because you tell a story of two real people in love and I can tell you put your heart and soul into it. I loved the wording as well because it is very simple but to me there is warmth in each line you write about. You make the characters come alive with each stanza. The characters are bubbling and it seems like they are living in their own world. I love that because it makes the character feel more in love with each other. To me this is overall a good poem because of the message it says. And as the reader I feel connected with them like I know them personally. Great poem.
