Liked the imagery here, and the title itself gave me a secured position on how to view the poem and it's possible characters.
I found myself sailing on a boat, watching the sky, possibly a few flying birds decorating it. Rays of the sun gashing through and through, illuminating the sea (though not part of the poem, didn't matter).
That's one part, a sunny day... but I think it is more of nighttime. And the light shining through is that of the bright moon saluting a lost sailor in the sea.
Just loved the different angles in this piece. Soft write, the speaker is gentle with words.
