My imagination waltzes with me, bringing me to our wedding,
It shows me glimpses of you in white, looking so beautiful
As we stand at the altar, reciting vows written long ago and sliding gorgeous rings onto fingers,
Sealing an eternity of love with a precious kiss.
My heart spins a movie of you and I with our four children,
The home we have warm and lovely, one so breathtaking
As the laughter of our kids bounce off the walls and fade
As we tuck them each into bed, late falling into an exhausted embrace.
I dream of exploring the foreign lands we discussed
As a family; telling each child about the wonders of traveling
Around the world, a bonding experience for us all
As the sun rises and falls on another day.
Every moment I have, I dream of you, of us,
And I thank whatever gave you to me,
For it gifted me with you, my other half, the girl who completes me,
Leaving me to adore the daydreams of our future.
