I Am

Disaster strikes like a lightning bolt,
I don't know if I should run or
Maybe just Holt.

Heroes and thieves all look the same,
They both can bring you joy and pain.

Wisdom is something man "thinks" he can find,
But without God's word one stays stagnate and blind.

I'm stubborn and wrong most of the time,
But when I'm right, I'm right and will
Fight for what's mine.

I keep movin' along living life as it comes,
I'll keep chuckin' on strong til my days here are done.

Every time I struggle to mend my ways,
I get wrapped up in self and lose sight of the days.

At least I know who I am,
Or at least I know who I think I am.

Just when I think I've figured it all out,
And know what's right and wrong,
The heroes become the thieves,
But still I keep movin' along.
