Well done, dear Peter. Indeed we should always show compassion and understanding for those around us less fortunate then us.

This poem was also a short story and with a good message inside. It was very, very sad indeed.

We should never forget we all are His children, and we should all look after our brothers and sisters.

Wow, great poem, I enjoyed the whole read. it is so true how we take for granted what we have in this world, knowing there are thousands who are suffering and would give anything just to have a roof over their head.
This Poem, as Peters Poems do, flowed and ryhmed beautifuly!
