Life's Test

by UM   Jul 4, 2004

You are confused,
Not thinking straight.
You are so angry,
Consuming hate.

You need to let go,
Things have changed.
Whether you like them or not,
It has been rearranged.

You scream and yell,
Then lash out at those around you.
Cutting them deep,
Anger in them you imbue.

You angrily say,
The last two weeks have been hell,
Well how about the last 6 months,
In which I've had to dwell?

Breaking up,
Was something I had to do.
I couldn't let myself slip on the knife blade I walked,
And pierce me through.

Perhaps it is better off,
In the end it's for the best.
It's just another trial,
In Life's Test.
