There's Nothing I Can Do

by UM   Jul 4, 2004

When I look into your eyes,
There's nothing I despise.
In my sight you are perfect,
There is no flaw that I can detect.
I want to hold you in my arms,
And protect you from all harms.
There's nothing I can do,
To keep from loving you.

Each day it grows,
I am helpless to stop it, I suppose.
There is nothing that could change my mind,
You are my glorious find.
From all the other girls,
I have managed to weed out the pearl.
There's nothing I can do,
To keep from loving you.

Like a slow wheel turning,
The fire is steadily burning.
Finding you,
Was a task I was set to do.
I can't help it,
But together we fit.
There's nothing I can do,
To keep from loving you.
