Hi Jenni I must say I truly adored this poem. From start to finish it really kept me interested. The imagery is great too. Though this poem holds a lot of metaphor and compare. I love when people can incorporate imagery within a metaphor poem because I believe it enhances it greatly. Now the poem as I said is outstanding. The plot is great and I loved the softness of this character. I can see this as a narrator and they are having a flashback or just remembering their past. From a time a person hurt them inside which is sometimes worse then getting hurt on the outside. This person was in love or had a good friendship and now they have ruined everything. I liked the different tones of this. There is a lot of sadness and it seems like at the end they are getting joy because the person that hurt them life is falling apart. The two most powerful lines here are the middle and ending. The message is strong within them and the story/ flow overall is wonderful. I enjoyed this one a lot :). Beautiful write.

Your imagery was so vivid and unique without being totally off the wall, great job. You did a great job of moving the story along and making excelent interesting statements.
