Unblocking my aorta again

I gave you power to destroy me,
giving you my darkness, my stupid eyes
and everything hidden under my silences.

Your amazing delicacy penetrated me,
sinking me in an aristocracy granted only
to those who know no boundaries between
life and beauty.

I confess my fear of being sabotaged by my vulnerability
as I close my eyes, bouncing between pain and anger.
I feel numb before my contradictory self
because it hurts to feel, to see, to understand, to desire

I am something unrecognizable.
But you can come close,
embrace my inner crazy
and expand your heart.
It will keep you warm.
