Winter night

by Mohan   Jan 22, 2014

My shadow starts a walk with me
with the help of moonlight.
A little snow falls
but there is a clear image;
the sky blossoms with night flowers.

An unusual feel,
music of icy breezes and waves
mesmerize my heart,
In the vicinity of the beach;
buds sleep ...
under a white blanket.

From a distance
as if standing at the mountains peak,
I can see
the twinkling light of boats;
Waves hide my feet.

I don't know
but someone painted this uncleared
yet calm moon in the sea,
A peaceful picture framed in my heart..

for eternity.

    I like the quiet passion of the illusion illustrated there in your Winter Night. I would call it Sill Winter Night, because that is the feeling it gave me of the event described wonderfully.

    I like the serenity behind this write. The joys of nature is limitless and words are never enough to draw her beauty.

    I like the images in each stanza and there are some nice lines within the write which I like. All in all a lovely read.
