Cozen (Senryu)

A powerful little piece. I always admire poets who can say so much in so little space - and you do that here.

Admittedly I have never heard of the word cozen. I looked it up and I thought it fit very well with the poem. This poem sends a very strong message. Though the baby was trapped I completely understand what you are saying here. People are always extreme when they are trying to get the story. Instead of helping. This is how I think a lot of people see the world It's always "me first". I really like how the last line has a question mark. Like you are asking the opinion of the reader. But I agree with what you are saying. People do anything to get what they want. Very unique and well written poem again.
