If I could paint my own picture
It wouldn't be the same you see
If I could right my own image
It would be different than me
If i could change my past and present
You wouldn't know me now
If I could change one thing
It would to not be the same
I want to be a new girl
I want to not pretend
I'm tired of all the questions
Of who i really am
Why do they have to wonder
Why cant they understand
Take the time to now me
And see who i really am
I'm not the girl you see
I have a different me
I want to be a new girl
A girl who sees the world
A girl who's independent
And is proud to be herself
I want to be a new girl
That doesn't want to change a thing
If only i could change
Within and without

    hey i know exactly how u feel it's hard to love who u are, but either u do or u don't and if u don't, u have to live with yourself for the rest of ur life so try to, appreciate who u are and what u have cause it could always be worse, and try a little every day, as time goes on u learn a little about yourself everyday, were always learning its an ongoing process.
