On these hollow black nights
When the moon hides and the night flowers bloom
I find solstice in the whistling wind and creaking trees
The canopy above and the soil below
Planting my feet and digging in my toes
Rich earth filling me with peace and love
The forest is right where I wanna be
My home away from home.

    Forest is home... Very True!
The wording is simplistic and majestic, just how I think a nature poem should be. Just a lovely nature poem from start to finish!!!
This poem has a creative style mixed with a short, but sweetness to it, which is why it stands out in my eyes this week, just beautiful!!

This reminds me of my home now lol I live in the country so when I used to walk at night I wouldn't wear shoes so I had dirt on my feet and I could feel the earth, I could feel the life of each thing that grew. Yes a forest gives out serenity and just wows you like no other thing, it's basically a place where you can calm (that's if you love nature not many do) down, de-stress about life, find your inner you and just be free to yell "I gold underwear yea!" Like you said it is you second home nice job Bianca 5/5
