Black Dog

by Monsieur Lefevre   Feb 20, 2014

Go away you black dog.
Nobody wants you here.
Your just a filthy black dog,
Sent to destroy us all,
Individually,
Slowly,
Alone.

Why must you follow me?
Yes I get it your little off springs are
On everybody else's tail,
But why?
Is it just in your nature,
Or did someone sent you?
Who do you work for?
Death himself?

Take your blue nose,
Gray tail,
White and black eye,
and your charcoal covered
Body and leave us all alone.
Your an evil dog.
Nobody wants you.

But we deal with you,
Quietly.
You sneak around other people,
Only if we can keep you hidden.
To some you shine as bright
as pitch black darkness,
To others you blend in with the scene around you.

We have poison for you you dog,
Poison to take away all of your
Devastating power.
For some of us, it doesn't
Crush you fully.
That is what tears us apart.
Knowing that even with our bottles
of poison,
You cannot be defeated.

I don't want to have to deal with you again.
You almost destroyed me a couple years ago.
But fortunately,
I have found the poison necessary to crush you.
It doesn't work alone,
But I have the missing piece.
It's far away but it still works.

Both the poison I have
And the poison I have found,
Together they can crush you.
If the poison I found is far away
And still works,
How much damage do you think it
Would do to you once it's standing right beside me?

So run you black dog.
You filthy mutt.
Run away because you have been
Defeated.
I have found your weakness
And my strength.
So just give up.

Have a taste of your own medicine.
Doesn't taste nice does it?
Didn't think so.
So take your
filthy,
Blue nosed,
Gray tailed,
White and Black eyed,
Charcoal covered body
And leave.
