Delicate Tears

Please do not store all your pain
inside your delicate heart,
for like a rose caught in a storm,
too much rain and it shall drown.

It takes more strength and courage
to show the world your tears,
than to never let them fall.

Please do not store all your pain
behind your beautiful eyes,
for I can see right through them,
into your secret waterfall.

Release those tears,
let go of the pain,
do not drown yourself
in the river of what you think is bravery.

I will catch each tear drop,
I will dry each of your petals,
and I will shelter you from the wind.

    I loved the softness of this poem saffie. You would never think of tears as being delicate but you you this with your heart. I imagine your friend being hurt and you being there for them. You care deeply for them and I can tell that. It's always wonderful to know people arealways there for you. It is always okay to cry bbecause it shows strength. The comparison to being a flower is also beautiful at the end. You always show beauty in your poems and this is no different. This poem shows how you think about your friend and how much beauty there is in crying.
