Dang you are on a roll this is sad the whole poem is good but i love the frist stanza it grabs you really good & agian sadness i love how the reader can look at you through your poems really it's like you are letting us in your world this sadness ik i said that but it is p&l midnight sky

I love when you write sad poems with nature as metaphors. You always do them well! I think here the winter sky could be your heart or life. And every "negative weather" or sadness is coming through to your life. Though we all have "shelter" it's really hard tohide inside. The imagery here though is wwonderfully written. The darkness consuming the light I love because it's a battle between them both. But the way you wrote this there is much more sadness than happiness or ( darkness than light). I loved the shell. It could mean a lot. For most people it's their room. The ending is fantastic! !! No mattee what a storm or "sadness" will always pass. The sunshine willalways shine.

Take a deep breath and picture the ocean. It's something beautiful. That's what I do.
And yes it shall pass.
