Today was like another day, but for some reason it felt different. It must have been that the days were getting shorter, but I couldn't shake this feeling that something was going to happen. Turns out I was right. As I got off work I was looking to kill some time, so I stopped by my favorite cafe in Gresham like I usually do. As I finished ordering my coffee I proceeded to make my way to my favorite seat. I liked this seat in particular because I could watch the people go about there days and see the car swoosh by as if time was sped up. But I noticed that there was someone sitting in my seat... A girl. A lonely looking girl, who seemed to have nothing to do but watch the cars and people much like I do. I approached this girl and asked if she's been to this cafe before. Till this point I've never seen her there before. She then looked at me with this look that till this day I can't forget. She then went on to say that she's always wanted to go to that cafe but never had time, but for some reason she had time on that day. I asked If I could take a seat at the table and she gave me a polite nod. It was silent at first and I'll admit a bit awkward. It didn't take long till she asked me the same question. I told her that this was my favorite spot to kill time and it's a great place to reflect and vent sort of speak. We then began to joke around and talk about the people walking by as if we were the narrators to their lives. It was something I've never done before with anyone and a feeling that made me almost.. Complete. As I finally mustered up the courage to ask if we could possibly meet here again, she told me she had to catch her bus and said "see you around". I couldn't shake the feeling that something was suppose to happen between us, something more then a mere conversation about passing by pedestrians. But what could I do? She was already gone. I spent the next 5 month revisiting that same cafe at the same time with no sign of the girl who's name I never got. But I'll keep trying, I'll keep waiting, for this was the girl that I could wait on forever...
