Entanglement

by Thomas   Mar 1, 2014

Without a doubt, without a care,
I sit and watch, a blindfolded stare.
But, there is only so much I can bear,
So I ask: How could you dare?

My mind, entangled in a gray smoke,
It always takes but a mere poke...
How dare you say you know? I soak
In tears of disbelief, the world awoke.

In amass, you take us as fools,
Yet, you've allowed yourselves as tools,
Parts of the machine, barking mules.

It takes just a spark to light a fire,
For the mass to dance around the pyre;
Broken, shattered, betrayed by the liar.
