Wow this is really well written. It flows beautifully especially for an acrostic.

Although I don't really have much real life experience of eating disorders, I have read a very powerful book about a girl with anorexia (it's called Monkey Taming by Judith Fathalla and I'd strongly recommend reading it) which I think shows really well the reality of an eating disorder. I believe that you too have summed it up perfectly. You really put across how it's not just about the physical side of wanting to look a certain way but the mental illness behind it, of wanting control but ultimately losing it because of the obsession. "Starvation becomes your safety, or does it become your secret?" that is really a wonderful line, emphasising the boundary between how an eating disorder can make a person feel good (e.g. through the feeling of achievement through losing weight) and how it can make them feel bad (e.g. through isolation).

You show the harshness of an eating disorder well, especially through the words you use, such as "fear" "destructive behaviour" "anxiety" which show how frightening it can be to suffer from an eating disorder, not just for the person themselves but also for those around them who have to watch someone that they love destroying themselves.

    I really love this poem, 5/5 :)

For being an acrostic this is a beautiful poem. I agree that eating disorders are very hard to overcome. I am an addict but I'm the other way. I binge eat. Here I likedhow you talk about how addiction or really not eating can really sspiral your life. It's true. When you fall into addiction it does become your safety and comfort. I think the key word though is comfort. We find comfort in the darkest of things all the time. You did a great job here to show how much it can hurt many people. The farther you fall the more you push people away. Great and very serious topic
