Memory

by Postguied Parnell   Mar 2, 2014

Tire swing.
The calm wind in a stormy bliss.
Car alarm.
One phone call and the chance I missed.
Our first kiss and we danced in bliss.
Life is not a story book, was the hardest page to swallow.
I remember the day you walked away, and you told me to follow.
Silly stories, broken hearts. Every day you made your mark on my heart and you told me to keep it.
Every day away I would take my heart and try to tweak it.
Our faces on the pavement.
Your hand in mine.
I would move mountains.
If you could find the time.

I told myself I would never write about you but here I am.
I remember our toes in the sand.
I know life without you.
So bland.
We were a fairy tale mixed with fail blog.
Everything else, just a fog.

If you ever read this... don't be pissed.
You don't have to call.
Just remiss and stare at a blank wall.
For me.
