This is sad dark because you are talking about yourself how you are scared of yourself you have no idea how to control it the frist stanza is the best the voice in there holds such great emotion and sadness really something here my friend you are good like always your friend midnight sky

Anxiety is part of the depression and is hard to control. We find ourselves in this big dark hole and it seems forever to crawl back out. Just let it happen and it shall pass.

Depression can be soul consuming and the fear that tags along with it is at times heavy to handle. I've gone through this and feel what you feel.

This write takes the reader through the emotions experienced and the ending just touches the heart. Take care.

I really enjoy the start of your poem. It gives off a feeling of a thriller or sadness that is consuming you. The wording is very fast paced and it works well I feel with what you wanted to write. I enjoyed the line about your heart racing. It works well to set up the first two lines. You fear something inside. The two lines that stand out on their own also work well because you are trying to give off the feeling of loneliness and just negative emotion overall. This shadow or darkness seems to have consumed you so much that nothing (any positive emotion) can help you now.

The last two stanzas are well written as well. You set up "the first half" well with the build up and now it all comes out all those thoughts that took over. I enjoyed the lava metaphor because depression can take over your whole body and you can do nothing about it. Being frozen by fear is teriible as well. Anyway you did such a great job with the wording as you set up and delivered your message with a tone of sadness. Also the title fits perfectly to me. Fear is a shadow that comsumes you. Great write.

I really liked the fast pace flow of this poem, it definitely showcases the adrenaline that comes with fear.

Anxiety and fear controls your life. You are constantly thinking, creating scenarios inside your mind or reliving memories and causing your heart to race and adrenaline to pump. Nothing can calm you down or comfort you during this time. The thoughts bombard you all at once and you fear that one day they are going to swallow you and continue to control the rest of your life.
