Man cannot stand man.

by DarkLight   Mar 6, 2014

Just as we cannot keep the glance steady for long so we cannot keep up happiness for long nor take the winding down of love the free gift of thought the earth suspended in its canticle.

We cannot even stand for long the proportions of silence when something visits it,
Still less when nothing visits it.
Man cannot stand man much of the time nor what is not man and yet he can hold up the limitless weight of all that does not exist.
