I'm Tired, Mother

Gahd that was beautiful yet sad at the same time

the lines "Please, turn the candles on and pray"
really caught my attention and pulled me to keep reading it 'till the end

and the last stanza was really emotional, i think the ending was great

The joining of nature and human emotions in this write just doubles the effect and makes the reader feel the sadness.

Its really sad that still now whether in school, or the net bullying never seems to end. I also like how you have written this in a child's point of view too, makes it more realistic. Excellent as always.

Lucero your poems never cease to amaze me. I nominated this and really enjoyed this as a whole. The way you write with nature is beautiful and really brings out the tone of sadness. The wording here is very unique. I enjoyed the child character. A lot of children are bullied and cry. But here using your scream as thunder is great because a lot of people fear thunderstorms, and though you were bullied now they fear you. You are sad because it seems all this child wanted was to make friends.

You cried until you couldn't cry anymore and you wanted everyone to feel how you feel. I really how you wrote this in the course of a day. You took a moment in time (early morning). Then the night time you feel better but more sad. Now you want to pray for all the hurt to go away. Beautiful write overall.
