This poem holds a lot of sadness joss. :(. I think what you are saying here is that you think you are ugly on the outside and though you want to show this person who you really are it's hard for you. I believe there is beauty in everyone inside and out. Though you left your mark on this person's heart you got or they were hurt. Love can be a killer of many things. I loved the wording you used here too because it goes well with what you wanted to say. Like poison is good because it leaves us dead and that's what a broken heart is. The last line is great too. You bled for love. Sometimes you want to fight the pain because you love someone so much. Beautiful write. Nominated

I think this is about the beauty that is on the inside as well as the outside. What I gather from your words is that sometimes, when we let the ugliness we hold inside, like hate or judgement, then it shows on the outside as well... killing any sign of beauty. I've always heard that someone's attitude can make them ugly, and I completely agree! I've met people who are gorgeous on the outside but when they talk and show who they are, they couldn't be more uglier.

I love the use of Midas touch here! Very unique approach. Whatever Midas touched turned into gold and here I think you mean the exact opposite. You feel like everything you touch somehow, someway goes wrong and turns into something negative.

The last few lines I interpret that someone fell for you deeply, loved you, and possibly without meaning to... you broke their heart and now you feel guilt. The infection (love) tainted their veins and they continue to bleed out for a love that isn't there. I'm probably wrong with that, but it's how I read it lol.

Overall, really nice! Keep writing, girl! :)
