This is such a touching poem, so open and raw. It is touching in the title alone, and the fact that this poem is something that we cannot hide form thinking about.

I often have the same thoughts, and I like how you mentioned the rainbow at your funeral, I hate the idea of funerals, and how everyone comes to celebrate your life, yet they all come wearing black, and cry. I want mine to be filled with colours. No dressing up and suits, and black ties.

I like your use of folded love, and origami planes, how unique! Beautiful addition to this scene.

The idea also of your ashes being buried with a seed... wow! How very creative, and a lovely idea to even think about, I think it also offers hope to those grieving, and the fact that your love really is all around, still growing!

The ending was very touching, to leave this tree behind as a symbol of your love to all those who fear of losing you, and living without you.

My only small problem was the double use of and on that last stanza, perhaps you could take one out and change it to another word?

What a really unique, creative, and touching poem. I thought it was going to be sad fro the title, but it is not sad, it is actually quite uplifting. Full of positive thoughts and little scenes.

    Well done.

So simple and thus so touching to the heart.
I would also like to be remembered in this way when I die....but I still haven´t decided what kind of tree I want to grow upon my ashes.

A heartfelt piece which makes the reader smile, then sad and leave behind a feeling of warmth yet the sadness is so gentle and moving!

    Congrats on the win.

Such an emotional piece first of all. Yet by the end you do not feel sad just reflective. It really is a mood setting poem. I love the repetition of 'when I die' has a real eventuality feel to it but also shows that this person has already come to terms with this. Perhaps they will live their life to the absolute fullest because of this. There is some really nice imagery in this. The stand out for me being the image of the origami cranes. I also love the upbeat feel of the dress code. The poem is written in a simple way but is very dreamy, there isn't an ounce of trying to be clever just some nice images knitted with a good flow and a positive final stanza. Worthy of 10 points this week.

When I read the title, my first instinct was.. this is going to be heart wrenching and sad. As I began to read on further, my heart was uplifted and an overwhelming sense of emotion was felt.
This poem was breathtakingly beautiful! The message is so powerful and explosive.
The unique word usage the author chose for this piece just blew me away. It was elegant and the magical as well, very unique piece.
The simplistic tones as well just shines through and flows throughout.
The message of a Japanese's Cherry tree and origami love is very creative and elegant. This piece is a message of celebration and love, and just a lovely , lovely poem by Kakera
